Inexpensive low jitter crystal oscillator
« on: 20 Jul 2004, 09:00 pm »
I heard recently that there is a US manufacturer producing an inexpensive but ultralow jitter master clock/crystal oscillator which might make a nice alternative to the more expensive Audiocom and LC Audio low jitter master clocks.

Does anyone know who makes these or better still has anyone tried them out to improve the performance of a CDP?

Knowing how well the above work, it would be nice to find a relatively inexpensive unit that does much the same thing. Most crystal oscillators in modestly priced CDPs are cheap and nasty, and changing these is perhaps the best means of improving performance right across the board. At least in my experience.
