No Burson’s are not better, just a different sound. To me its not which one you think is better, its the one that has better synergy with the sound of your system.

could you describe the difference ? Lets assume Dexa and Burson are in the same neutral systems.
I am looking for right opamps as well and your opinion will give me some insight.

I had a pair of Burson’s at one time with another dac. The Dexa op-amps to me have more detail and transparency (highs are more extended) and a neutral sound all-round. Burson’s has a very nice full body sound a little to the warm side. The reason for the change, I replaced some output caps that made everything more detailed so it got me thinking about the Burson’s sound, they might be a better match now.
