EDIT: NO LONGER FOR SALE
Not sure whether this best goes in "parts" or "equipment."
For sale is my 3-week-old TTWeights periphery ring. It is a low-profile model which weighs 1.4lbs and isdesigned for turntables with platters of at least 3kg. The quality and machining of this thing is outstanding. Really helps flatten the warps I have noticed on so much new vinyl.
But...it doesn't fit my turntable. The cartridge mounting screws on my Sure V-15 III are a little too long and rub against the ring.
Complete info can be found here:
http://www.ttweights.com/catalog/item/8752058/9782146.htm(The model description notes that this model has 8 copper discs, but as you can see in the pictures, mine has 16 copper discs.)
Comes with a plastic centering disc that makes using the ring a snap--a few seconds is all it takes.
These things are NOT cheap to buy and apparently difficult to machine. TTWeights Audio is a side project for a company that makes aerospace parts.
