+1 on Laurel and Hardy. films. I'm having a lot of fun introducing my 9 year-old son to their movies now..........the 8 or so minutes in "A Chump At Oxford" when Stan turns into Lord Paddington are brilliant.

Some not mentioned yet:

40-year-old Virgin (fave line: "bag of sand")
Pineapple Express (the kicking out the windshield scene is classic)
Old School (Hank the Tank: "we're streaking!")

Hey!

I actually like Wayne's World... well, at least the first one.

Month Python's "Life of Brian" and "The Meaning of Life"! And then there is Mel Brooks "Blazing Saddles" and "Young Frankenstein"! I need to buy these.  :D

I like "The Meaning of Life" but for others, if you are not a fan of Monty Python than you will find this movie weird and strange. Hey! Who could forget that "Oooh Fishy Fishy Fish" scene  And my favorite, the "Wafer thin mint" scene near the end.

Oh! One funny film series that make me LOL every time is "Austin Powers" Yes, I do like all three. These are just silly.

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

Lots of Mel Brooks love her but no mention of The Producers (the original with Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder of course). Favorite line "I'm so poor, I'm wearing a cardboard belt."

Here's one that's not too well known: Where's Poppa? Classic Ruth Gordon performance in the least PC movie ever made. Ron Leibman is great in this film.

For Abbott and Costello, I prefer their TV show with Sidney Fields, Mike the Cop, Mr. Bacciagalupe, Bingo the Chimp  and Stinky

The Phil Silvers Show aka Sgt. Bilko

Love W.C. Fields. His best is It's a Gift. Do you know a man by the name of LaFong? Carl LaFong? Capital L, small a, Capital F, small o, small n, small g. LaFong. Carl LaFong. And who can forget Mr. Muckle in the grocery store.

Speaking of the Python boys (as several have), A Fish Called Wanda. & Fierce Creatures were both well done. Been a while, I'll have to see what I can pick them up for used to add to the library.

Not a movie, but I find a few TV shows consistently funny - Psych, Community, Parks and Recs, the Colbert Report, and Archer.
