So what the heck is thermofoil? Commonly known as Ridgid Thermofoil or RTF. You've seen it a million times and just didn't know it! It's used on all kinds of surfaces...desktops, doors, cabinets, etc. It's like contact paper on steroids. I envision someone here using it for speakers, but it's certainly not limited to that.
What I'm offering is two pieces. 1- 2'x 8' and 1- 2'x4'. Executive Cherry with PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) on the back, AKA peel & stick. This is serious adhesive. I'll give you some pointers on how to install or you can Google cabinet refacing for boatloads of info. FWIW, I pay about $75 for a 2x8 sheet. I'm sending to the winner in the box pictured and limiting it to conus.
Here's the scoop:
Open to all AC members with 50+ posts.
Pick a number between 1 and 20 (limited to the first 20 entrants to assure a timely transaction)
Don't duplicate entry numbers (please scan the entire thread so you don't choose a number that's already taken !!)
After 20 entries or on 6/1/2013, whichever occurs first, I will task my 2 year old grandson with choosing a number (maybe by taste, since he tastes everything else), and thus the winner. I will notify the winner on this thread and by PM.
Winner will send me their info and I will ship prepaid.
No reciprocation is necessary or expected but I'm adding this caveat; Ya gotta show us photos of your project when completed...speakers or whatever. My intent is to get this in the hands of someone who will use it.
