A BIC V1220 (200 Watt).  Around $180 as I recall.  Ran with a pair of Axiom M3ti's.  Sounded rather good but when pushed the sub just did not deliver any real earthy response.    I've since upgraded to Outlaw's LFM 1 Plus with Axiom M22V3.  Much more visceral on  so many music genres.

I am with WC and my first sub was the DBX unit.  I paired it with some ancient Phase Tech speakers and enjoyed the system in the 80's.  The little amp crapped out a few years later and I ran it passive for a while.  i finally threw it away last year after being retired to the old component home in the basement store room for 20 years.

Audio Pro B2-50 mated to Dahlquist DQ-10s on DIY, solid 1.5"-thick walnut stands. Everything was stolen at the same time.  And thus I began the next leg of my journey.   :green:

The drug-addled numbnuts that stole it did not know enough to take the special connecting cable.  They also took an Allied receiver but left a McIntosh 6100. Guess they were too tired (or their truck was full) after also taking my TV and microwave and numerous other items.

B2-50 was my first too. I had it for years using it with Acoustat 1+1
