How do like your ModWright DAC? I'm running his Ambrose vacuum tube mono blocks and pre amp. I also have his PH=150 phono stage and he modded by Oppo 105D. I've gotten to know him pretty well from various shows. Great guy. I also have some WyWire cables in my system.

I really like it. I owned a Modwright modified Sony which I use as the transport now. It is my 1st DAC so I have nothing to compare it to. Yes,on Dan's advice I did go with Wywire on the link between my transport and DAC. Went Co axial. I will say this,I have had no problems with it. I have read some people complain it just drops out then the sound comes back on. . Anyway,it rivals my analog front end and I have 4 times more money than the Dac. Dan also sent some great tubes with it and yes he seems like a nice guy. The transport I have is actually his ,the same one he took around to audio shows. I bought it from a freind of his,Weaver, who he bought from Dan. So everything goes around.
