Sorry my humor fell flat. I was joking about your sentence "To lazy to get up from the chair." It should be "too", but I was only joking around.  :duh:

On a hot sweaty summer night in 1970 Phil Keaggy sold me this album out of the trunk of his car in an alley after a truly terrific extended jam show (at The Warehouse?) in Richmond, VA. I was a little short on funds - typical for me at the time - but Keaggy was unconcerned and told me "don't worry about it brother" and sold it to me anyway. I still owe him $3.25.

I know, I've posted this before, but to me it deserves multiple encores: 1970's "If Only I Could Remember My Name" with David Crosby and friends (Atlantic).  Friends include members of San Francisco, Berkeley and L.A. bands and a couple of Canucks from the day that you will recognize.  Dunno how Crosby pulled this off with Atlantic.  They must have given him carte blanche cause commercialism is out the window.  The lyrics are 60's mind blown sentimental the exception being "Cowboy Movie" which is a fantasy with some of the most involving playing from multiple sources.  Do turn it up and the let the instrumental textures slay you.  Listen into the choruses for Mitchell, Slick, and Nicolet Larson on the reverse side.  Damn, this is a good production and a good performance album.  Ten stars.  Something will make you a believer.  Maybe it's just my system, but analog kills digital in this instance.

Not only you. Not that I have much into my digital end, but more than I put into the analog to start out. If the starting sound of my analog was as bad the digital, I may have given up.

Patti Smith ~ Dream Of Life
P-man . .  gotta a lot of respect for this lass as an artist.  She became more poetic and topical as her career developed.  My first awareness of her came with her first release, "Horses" (Arista), but, oh my, how she developed.  Thank you, Arista, for signing her up and giving her creative license and excellent sound.  "Dream of Life", "Easter", and "Radio Ethiopia" followed and, heck yeah, I've got them.

Hey, Kenneth Patchen, good to see you posting.

Hi, Toni, good to see you posting, too.
