As for those pics , it was just the lighting ,  .
I've noticed that  when taking pics of mine, when you get the light at a certain angle  , it just makes the silver "pop".  Danny had it  just right in  couple of those.
Awesome job  guys  :thumb:

Gotcha!

I'm working on another pair that will reflect light a lot like the dark silver. I will experiment with lighting a bit and try to capture that "pop"!

Thanks,

Ruben

The car is the Fiskar Karma and the color is called Shadow.

Ruben, are you sure it's not called "flamed shadow"?

I guess "Metallic Grey" sounds too boring.

It looks  very similar to the "mtallic chrcoal"  I used.  When the sun comes in the window,  there is a TON of metallic and with the  texture, and the black grills, it really looks cool

Keep those pics coming Ruben, love em :)

Don't a lot of dark silvers (including that which is on this car) have varying degrees of blue in them? I used to have a car with paint that the maker named Sapphire, and it was equal parts silver and blue. What makes for a real, true charcoal, with absolutely no blue?

Not too sure, maybe  bright silver / black ?  I have seen a lot of  cars that are charcoal without the blue  tint  that the above picture appears to have

Yeah, that picture is pretty off on the color. :duh:

EDIT: Actually, it's the WRONG color! The picture above is of their "Deep Ocean". :icon_lol:

This is correct color.

Just got home from LSAF. The Super-7's were amazing. I am a planar fan and have had a love hate relationship with my Martin-Logan CLS IIa electrostatics for 25 years. The soundstage is 3 dimensional, and the resolution and transient response of these sound like electrostatics but integrate well with the sub. I look forward to hearing them again. I have a bunch of work to do tomorrow or I would go back to LSAF. I hope someone will carry them in the Dallas area.
