Hi all Audio Circle members.
This is what happen when you have no wood working skil and a few tools.
The result is not a work of art, but the basic design is not uncommon.
Many diy'er have done something similar.
The two woofers are Eminence 12" Acoustinator (Parts Express 116 USD (Paid 25 USD/each) - Fs 31Hz - 94.7db/1M/1W - QTS 0.52) driven by Danny's now discontinued SA-1 300 watts plate amplifier (Paid 129 USD).
The mids and hare taken care by a extended range Audio Nirvana 8" std paid a few years ago only 78 USD/pair from Common Sense Audio.
I drive that contraption with a Decware SE84C+ SET amplifier paid 795 USD.
...and that ugly combo keeps me happy at both ends, low and high.
Of course, if I feel more demanding, I still have my GR Research V1.
I have change the placement of my speakers. It did not improve the sound, but it did not deteriorate it neither.
