Bought this in early 2007 and used for a couple years. It's been sitting unused for 4-5 years now. I graduated to the Signature 30.2 and moved on in other directions from there.
This was the unit that started RWA off, I believe. But this is the second iteration in larger cabinet with larger battery for really long life between recharges. I have the higher amp recharger too, for quicker recharging. It's got the upgraded caps, I believe Auricaps. The battery has been occasionally recharged over the years to prevent total discharge. I have plugged it in recently and tested, and all works fine still. I bet the battery doesn't have full life at this point given age, but will probably be fine if you only listen for a few hours at a time. A brand new battery should play almost 24 hours before needing recharge. It's a pretty simple replacement process. I have replaced it before. Really basic solder skills are all that is needed.
I believe it's either 6-8 watts/channel. Tripath chip. Really a revelation at the time, and still a good performer in my estimation. This would go great with my Hornshoppe Horns for sale in the speakers section - in fact, that's what I paired them when back in 2007 when I got them originally. I went with this from some Klipsch Lascala's and never looked back. Beguiling coherency and transparency from the combo in comparison.
Well, let me know if you have any questions or interest.
