I'm relaxed. very relaxed.

What do you mean by not stable? That is does not generate more power at two ohms?

It seems that someone felt ...less endowed...because their amp is light in comparison to other amps.

I am relaxed, I have no skin in the game and don't own any of the gear that is being compared.

Just poking fun at their website specs, which do not state output wattage into 2 0hms.  That's all.

At this point I have no skin in this game either, as I own neither brand amp.  And like I said, I was just curious why some amps are so heavy and some not.

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough.

Not going to get in a pissing match over it.

Happy listening.

I would agree that it's more about the design than the transformer size. Using Digamoda amps right now and couldn't be any happier with the switching output stages. Never thought I would say that though, I'm slow to adopt new audio tech I suppose. I still have a big 150 LB PBN amp that I love. A force to recon with. :thumb: That parasound rig is sweet too even if it won't drive 1-2 ohms.

I find it odd then, that you would find it amusing to start this thread in the owner's circle. Frank is helping to pay the bills here at AC, after all. It certainly is also an odd comparison, almost like saying the fatter the man, the more powerful. Or the heavier the car, the better performing it is. The real truth is, the amplifier's weight has nothing to do with it's performance. Weight is the final by-product of thoughtful engineering........
