[Inscrutable]

Anyone have any experience with this table, or any close relatives (Resolution)? An upgrade to my analog front end is now near the top of my wish list, and one of these has popped up close enough to pick up in person (always a big plus over shipping) at a pretty good price.  I'm used to the Rega house (albeit ground floor) sound  (lively, good PRAT, maybe a little forward), and this one is coming with a modded RB300and an Aurum Alpha (tho i could switch in my Denon).  No matter what, I'd presume it's a significant jump over my rig, but the next table I get needs to last a long while (many other items on the wish list will take precedence - you can see my chain under Systems) and I'm not sure this will be the long term keeper.  Opinions?

I've never heard the Emotion, but it seems to get good reviews.  I'm not the biggest fan of acrylic TT's and if you are used to the Rega house sound, you find the table less engaging.  I'd wait for the P5 to come out and buy that personally.

I'm not sure you made the distinction, and just posted about the Emotion by way of reference, or not.  This is not the newer Emotion, but the older Evolution, which I believe is the entry model in their Reference series.  Here's a link to a pic. http://www.savantaudio.com/caevolu2.html  Is there some info accessible regarding the P5?

Oops.  I automatically assumed it was the emotion.  I've heard the Clearaudio Reference table with linear tracking arm.  Tons of detail, but slightly too clinical sounding for me.  Depends on your taste.
