Importing to iTunes funny Kbps

Hey,

I am reimporting all of my music in to iTunes at AIFF.  Question.. Why are some coming in at a higher kbps rate than others?  Will they still play out of my usb DAC?

Thanks   Image below of kbps? See the AIFF at 1144 kbps?

FLAC and ALAC are lossless compression formats, but with the compression comes a reduction in bitrate, which it looks like you've got with the apple lossless files in your image.

AIFF and WAV will always be 1411 kbps for 2 channel, 16 bit, 44kHz material.

you can convert from one to another and you'll not lose any info.
