JB,
Do you have any images (or a link to some) of that speaker you can post?

Thanks
Matthew

I think that's the one near the bottom of this page: http://www.hifizine.com/2010/06/lone-star-audio-fest/

Yes, that's it.  And that's its proud owner you see there, too. :)

Here is a rear view of the prototype shown at 2010 LSAF including the second generation Manzanita and a very old cat!  No crossovers in the picture.  I think I was revising them at the time.  The cat stayed home in CA.

The amp in the picuture is a Musical fidelity A308.

Here is another in room Holm measurement without the Seas 10".  Interesting how far up the woofer plays and how far down the tweeter plays.  To keep things simple I will forward a different measurement every couple of days.  I think there are 3 more.  Each really helps understand how the system was interacting with the room.

Hello again...

Today's Widow Maker LSAF in room Holm measurement shows all three drivers as an overlay.  Blue is of course the dual Goldwood 1858 woofers, Green the Seas 10" and Brown is a Seas 27TDFC.  Crossover is all passive.  Estimated system efficiency is 88-90 dbw, 6 ohms nominal.  Power handling is in the 100-125 watt area.  With 4 each 18" woofers and the 2 each Seas 10" midranges, the system can play at 100 db levels with little sign of strain.  And do it all the way down to woofer resonance at 30 HZ.  The hotel room provided about 4 db of room gain from 40 Hz or so on down into the upper 20's.   The crossover points (accoustically) are pretty obvious.

Thanks John.  :thumb:  Sounded darn good, too.  Very well balanced.  JBspeakerman is the king of tonal balance.
