The Audio 13 Vertical N3 speakers.
« on: 18 Jan 2013, 10:36 am »

Hi Danny and all Audio Circle members.
If I am posting this topic here on Danny’s site,
instead of the “ Enclosures “ site,
it’s because my speakers are GR Research speakers.
Find below new pictures of the modifications of my GR Research N3 speakers.
They are now on a vertical axis, instead of previously on a horizontal axis, won’t change anything to the sound, but the change was made so that I can put the N3 on a stand that I will built later on.
Also, I have put my logo trade mark “ Audio 13 “
Since I cannot start my dream audio business, I put my Audio 13 logo and pretend that it’s my speakers…
(I know a little weird, but it makes me feel good…)

As you know adding that much surface area to the N3 while not compensating for it with the crossover will significantly change the response. My guess is that it may just fall within +/- 4 to 5 db, whereas is it was within +/-1.5db as designed.

But hey, if you're having fun with it....
