+ and - voltages for Bugle

+ and - voltages for Bugle

How close do the + and - voltages have to match for the Bugle.  I get 13.1 and 13.5 volts on the two 12V SLA batteries that I've tried.  Does this affect anything?

They do not need to be the same.  One can be +10V, the other -15V.  The important thing is to keep the total under 36V.  It also helps that they have the same noise characteristics (i.e. same ripple, not an issue with batteries).
