I had one of these drivers with a broken spring connector on the tweeter (error during test assembly of my sealed speaker build before I took delivery).  I purchased this driver second hand from a member here on AC, and even then, with an email to Danny, the importer sent a complete set of terminals (for woofer and tweeter) promptly direct to me to get my speaker fixed (which I have yet to take care of. . . ).  These guys are good people.

. . . maybe the wrong time to mention that I remembered an old ad in the classifieds here on AC and have a second pair of drivers being sent my way. . . and I haven't even built a Super-V yet. . .  :green:

Danny, is there any chance that you could may be give us a little more notice when your kits/items are on the way out? Since following your threads, I have failed to get a set of PR subs, a couple of the SA-1 amps and was considering the 8" v's as well!
Hi Danny, author=oz and all Audio Circle members.
I think it would be a good idea in the future to keep us informed
(Us, your customers) of the status of your inventory,
so we could plan in advance our future GR Research purchases.
When a supplier introduce a new products,
we expect from that supplier to have enough stock to last a few years...
I am talking for myself or like a selfish man...
However, I am sure some other Audio Circle members share the same with me.
When I am back in Canada in 2013 or 2014
I will be selling the drivers of my V2 including:
I will probably have eight (08) subwoofers,
four (04) GR Research GS-1 plate amplifiers,
two (02) crossover
and two (02) Paudio 8" coaxial drivers.
I am keeping my V1 and my N3.
By the way, soon my N3 will be modified.

Guy, V-1's, V-2's and Super-V's were available for over three and a half years.

Hi Danny and all Audio Circle members.
Well, time goes fast...
However, I don't think we had a long term warning about the products being discontinued.
The same thing applies for the GS-1 plate amplifier.
For the GS-1 that's not a big problem, because Dayton
and Kyega have equivalents.
Anyway, nothing I can do about it
and I have everything I need now.
So, I will stop complaining.

My lower priced kits out sell them about 20 to 1 or more. I'd have to go look up the totals but just guessing probably around 100 pairs.

I know every time Gary Dodd milled out the rear back cup for the Super-V driver he peeled off the sticker from the center of it and stuck it on the wall, and he had a wall full of those stickers.

So not a lot of them were sold, but a pretty fair amount.
