For sale is the just released DAC2 HGC with black faceplate, remote control, stock power cable, usb cable, box and manual.  Here’s a chance to get this DAC now since new units are backordered due to high demand. This unit is from the first production run and has been carefully used for the past six weeks.

Functional highlights:

•   Decodes PCM up to 24/192 (S/PDif & USB 2.0) and native DSD (USB 2.0).
•   Also an analog preamp (no I/O digitizing) with two stereo inputs.
•   Wireless remote control volume and source switching
•   Volume operates in digital domain for digital sources and analog domain for analog sources.
•   5 digital inputs (1 USB, 2 S/Pdif RCA, 2 Toslink).
•   2 analog inputs (unbalanced stereo RCA).
•   3 analog outputs (2 unbalanced stereo RCA, 1 balanced stereo XLR).
•   12v trigger output.

Benchmark is assembling new DAC2 HGCs upon order and shipping within 5 days, as stated on their website and confirmed by phone today.

This seems to be a nice unit less than two months old for $300 less than a new one.(even if you only have to wait 5 days for a new one)
