So I have a vortexbox as I pretty much adopted SB's early on.

Truth be told, I haven't been using it as I haven't set it back up since my move.  I was close to reaching the 1TB space limit so I need to upgrade the disc space or at least use an external disc to expand.

I am wondering if anyone has good tips for upgrading, expansion, etc.  Anyone try to put a  SSD drive it one?

Wondering if USB/coax solutions are more betta than SB's. 

I was planning to set it back up tonight, so was looking for tips.

I should add that I am using a Lite Audio DAC-83 which does not have USB.

Try Vortexbox.org. A wealth of info there. You can certainly use an SSD for the VB OS and a large conventional drive for the storage/media drive. Look for something called a "2 disk install" for Vortexbox.
