I thought the AKG K1000 had a better sound quality, in the final podium section it is not on top.

theirs always been a rumor about the 650's being able to put a lot of people to sleep, ie they are pretty laid back. n

Also I dont like the soundstage is small, some owner mention the 650 soundstage is small.

I've tried ALO Audio's cable and Stefan Audio Arts cable on the 650 and both wake them up nicely.  Still one of my favorites!
