that amp problem i had.. with the exploding...

I have finished fixing my 'broken' amp... the jaycar kit one.

I was wondering if you thought there might be any chance of there being damage to q1,2,14 and q3,4 as I have not yet replaced these as they didnt do any exploding but I am prepared to do so obviously.

Is there is any chance of damage to them?

they could have received 75v... the q3,4 are rated to 80v but the q1,2,14 are only rated to 65v

here is the schematic:

Basically I changed the diodes the zd's the mje340's and 350's and the n and p ch mosfets.   Also a bunch of resistors that died with them.

Since all the capacitors are rated at higher than the potential 75v they may have received I have not replace these.  (most are 400v + higher spec than what was with the kit to start with.)

I was just after advice about this repair job before i turned it on with new mosfets and bits worth about 200 dollars in there and re explode them :(
