I would rate this movie as 3.5/5 stars at a normal theater but seeing/hearing it at the i-max moves it up to 4.5-5/5  

This is a very dark movie and will give all but the best dlp pj's a run for there money when the dvd  is released.

Unfortunately, Raleigh's IMAX is waiting to show it 7/2.  I did go and see it anyway at my regular theatre.  I certainly enjoyed it.  I've never read the books so I go in to each one fresh (same with LOTR).  I'll probably read the first three books eventually but no rush.
