Ok here we go, you all know the hype about this unit. Mine in particular was hand made by Lukasz with hand selected parts, many of which were upgraded, and is the top of the line one box unit, tubes matched to absolute perfection, and you get the idea. If you notice on the serial number plate it is called a 4+ not just a level 4. I asked Lukasz to make the very best one box DAC he could and he did. A level 4 sells for $6,000.00 without any options, this unit has the + options, just meaning level 5 parts were used, it has a remote volume with an Apple remote control, three extra Valvo the real deal NOS E182CC / 7119 made in the 50's in Holland I believe. Unit also has a special RCA grey glass 5Y3 rectifier, Build date 2/12, I ordered the same unit but with balanced outputs to replace this unit, which I now have in my system.
This unit has one pair of single ended (RCA) outputs and Balanced, RCA/spdif and Tos-link digital inputs. It also has one set of analog inputs so there is no need for a preamp. The analog inputs were originally a second pair of outputs and could be changed back if needed.
