The BSG Technologies qOL signal completion stage arrived today. Took it over to my friend Bob's place and installed it in his setup. It is up and running.

There is a hum problem that I need to figure out before a meet. Taking balanced cables and power cables over tomorrow to try some corrective measures.

Once we have that corrected, will start discussing possible dates for the next MAAC gathering. It might have to go until December with some family issues that have come up.

Will keep everyone posted as soon as I know.

Sounds interesting (pun intended). What do you know about its theory of operation?

The best I can think is that it is doing phase decoding of the incoming signal. It works on Mono and Stereo signals, so not the interchannel phase.

The BSG Tech qOL processor is fully up and no hum. Full balanced connections did trick.

The date that looks good for Bob is Saturday, 8 December. He can handle a total of 8 people for the listening session. That will be as a rotation in his room.

Post in the thread who would like to come for a head count.

Hope folks can make that date.

Will PM his address when it get's close.

Dec 8 is not looking good for me. My wife is having one of her college buds over and unless I get a day pass I won't be able to join you.

I will add one more thing to that date.

There is a local symphony orchestra that is very good. They will be preforming a holiday concert that evening starting at 7:00PM with a choir. Tickets are usually $10/person at the door.

The plan would be for an afternoon demo at Bob's and then drive to the venue for the concert for anyone interested. Only about 10 miles away, and on the way home for most folks.

Should give us plenty of time for tunes. The concert is at 7PM, so time to make that if anyone is interested.

I can give him a ping. He went on vacation about a month and a half or so back and he's probably catching up on work.
