Steve wanted a very capable HT3-based center channel to go with some proposed HT3's.  We had done one like this a few years ago when the HT3 featured the G2 ribbon tweeter.  Since then, we switched to the RAAL tweeter in the HT3's.  This meant starting basically from scratch on this design.  After waiting quite a while for woofers and various other delays, we were finally able to generate the design.

The prototype cabinets, which are currently occupying the better part of my basement, measure 33" high without the tip toes.

33" high might be getting right up there for some A/V applications but it should really be helpful for integrating this center with the HT-3's for establishing a nice seamless soundstage. Very nice.
