Is it just me or is there more and more builders of Planar or Electrostat's?

An impressive list!  Possibly another add is BG Radia.

BG is on there.

Don't forget Genesis who still use a BG planar.  And Wisdom who started with BG planar, but now use their own.  Their LS3/4 are pretty much SOTA as far as planar magnet drivers are concerned.

Audeze showed a pair of prototypes last year at RMAF. But they are still so busy making their headphones, who knows when they will have time to build them.

A couple more electrostat manufactures and their sites.

Just Real Music from the USA.

Audio4 from Holland.

Hey this list just keeps on growing.

Just came across another electrostat manufacturer.
This one's from Italy, DEA Electrostatics.
Three different models.

I am amazed that there are so many electrostat/planar manufacturers!
Surely there cannot be many more than we have already listed.

Impressive list. Steve, maybe you should make it a sticky thread?

I'm afraid of becoming sticky crazed so stuck it in the first post of Welcome to the Planar Circle which now has Welcome etc/Manufacturer's Links.

Not sure if these guys count, but Philharmonic Audio make three tower models that utilize BG Neo8 planar mid range drivers. They have ribbon tweeters, and conventional cone drivers for the low end.

I'll add them to the list just in case anyone is interested.

Wow that is a nice speaker for $3500. Hardwood veneer, BG 8", Raal tweeter, Revelator in transmission line..  interesting.

I know...I was shocked to see the components used in the three. Then I saw the price tag and my brain began to spin.  :o

Not to shabby for what you get IMO. I would be curious as to how they sound. Some users say that it's a bit rough to get them properly dialed in, but once you do, it's good times.  8)
