OK AC guys and gals, what I have for sale here is a Nirvana Electronic Works A-20.1. From everything I've read, this amp is essentially a Pass Aleph J clone, though I don't know how accurate this is. I think it is fair to say that it has a Pass "Aleph family" lineage. If you're curious about Class A amps designed by Nelson Pass, but can't afford a beautiful First Watt or Pass Labs amp, about your only options are to A) build one yourself or B) buy one of the Rawson clones out there. Here's your rare option C) to get something that is quite a bit more "tidy" than options A) or B) and at an entry price. I don't think you'd be able to even get a Rawson Aleph J clone for much less than $500.
I've read slightly varying specs on this amp, but from the review in the link below, the amp puts out 22 watts x 2 into 8 ohms / 44 watts x 2 into 4 ohms or can be switched to mono for 88 watts into 8 ohms all Class A.
It is an easy 8/10 on Agon scale and super clean. Sorry I don't have many pics right now. It is in my audio shelf being used this very minute. If you're familiar with the Monarchy SM-70, this amp is built on what appears to be a very similar chassis, to give you an idea of overall size and design.
I know people say this all the time, but seriously, this thing has a very tube-like sound, but without the tubes. The sound is warm, open, and not at all hard or fatiguing. Don't be scared off by the lower wattage, this thing has current.
Here's a review I found which I think describes the sound accurately. Note the reviewer was using Thiel speakers. Not an easy load.

You can check my feedback on Audiogon where I've been an honest and upstanding member for 7 years. My name there is Ryanpdavidson. Thanks for looking!

The amp will ship from zip 57006
