Try giving the 6SN7 tubes a few good whacks on top with your knuckle.  During shipping or moving, debris can get spread around and you want to shake the debris loose.

Ralph at Atma-Sphere has recommended this in the past and its worked for me a couple of times.

Just to clarify,,,,  this is something to try with the power off, isn't it? I have always read not to tap on tubes while they are on, but I am no expert.

Yes, power off.  I've done with tube removed and with tube inserted.  But in the latter case, with power off.

I will never tap a tube again.

The loose piece of glass was almost certainly already there before you tapped the tube.  You simply moved it.

Something happen in the postal mail transport, it had delayed +60 days to arrive.
The carton box was more damaged than the usual.

Aactually one of them hasnt made a noise since tapping it. The other one may end up in the do not play drawer.
