I've not heard the T1's, but the owners seem quite enthusiastic.
I had 990/600's and loved the soundstage, but found the big peak at
about 8k hard to deal with in concert with the recessed midrange.

I don't hear owners talking much about the peak on the T1's and while
measured response isn't the whole story, they too, have quite a peak at
10k.  So, a number of you have mentioned owning them...tell me what
you like about them?

Thanks for the link...I had forgotten that thread. 
I'm one of those who "is" sensitive to the peak in the response,
so when I came across a great deal on some Audeze LCD-2's
I went that way.  This is my final venture into planar cans
because I preferred dynamic cans over the first two orthos' I had.
