After many years of enjoyment, I am parting ways with my amazing Paradox HT system. Long ago I purchased a pair of Paradox-3s from the original builder, and with Danny's help I added a Paradox-1 as a center channel, and 2 A/V-1RS in the rear for surround. The system has performed wonderfully for me, but a move is necessitating some liquidation of items in order to raise cash.
My asking price is $1000 for the entire system, but I am open to reasonable offers. I would like to move these this month, but I'm not in enough of a hurry to entertain really low offers. Suggested retail price for this system (years ago) is $3000.
They have been color matched to each other. These speakers are all in good shape, with one substantial exception. Years ago, my wife managed to create a long shallow scratch on the side of one of the towers. We cleaned it up with a furniture pen, and it is really only visible when you're close to it. After the ensuing argument, I found I could simply move the tower to the other channel with the imperfection next to the TV, where I can't even see the side of the speaker. I would rate the P3s as a 7/10, the P1 and AV-1RSs as 8/10. Acoustically they are perfect.
I'm selling these in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I would prefer to not ship these speakers, as the packaging and cost would increase significantly. I have a van, so I am willing to drive a reasonable distance if necessary.
UPDATE Sept 6 - I have received multiple offers on parts of the system, so I am willing to entertain breaking this up if someone only wants the fronts or rears.
