Discussed before on this circle, but since MAX is reaching its final stages please let me ask again about this subject. Tracks with longer titles are not displayed completely, due to file naming conventions in tagging/filing.

MAX1 does show the filename completely when building a playlist:


but in the actual interface shows the file like this:



MAX2 only shows



while the front panel (both live and virtual) show:



Would changing this be in the works? A scrolling 2 line Frontpanel could do the trick on the BPD1, while the MAX interface needs a different but obvious approach.

Hi Marius,

We have tried scrolling with the front panel with limited success; however in Max 2 we included an expand button to widen the current playlist to take up 80% (i think its 80) of the screen, clicking it again returns it to normal size.

HI Chris,

It was not until the latest beta that I notice the yellow popups when hovering over the tracklist, and items that are too long to display completely. Nice touch! Has that been always there? Sorry for missing that
