Hi chrisby,

I used the Kreg pocket hole joiner and glue on the H-frames. Makes for a very sturdy right angle construction. The outriggers are pvc and crutch tips

The FH3's are much loved and going strong thanks to you and all the other contributors.

Knew I should have listed a budget.  :) My budget is $1500 or less. So the two you mentioned just won't work for me. Wish I could afford them because they look like great speakers.

Have you pulled the trigger on something yet? I have a pair HB Type-2s in a premium finish that I can no longer use (moved to a smaller NYC apartment). Kid/smoke/pet free house and these are a perfect "10". No sub required with these! I run them with a RedWineAudio Signature-15 amp and I've never taken them past 1/2 on the dial so that should give you an idea of their efficiency.

With premium finish they were $1950. I will sell for a very good price if done quickly; I'll be moving on to their smaller siblings (Omega Super 3E) soon. Interested?
