looking for some advice. I run my main system from a Bolder modded Touch (digital mod and bybee power supply; and love it). I used a sync Transporter to run to my Niles 6 channel home system (patios etc). Now that I have given up on the Transporter should I run both digital and analogue outputs from my Bolder Touch or should I bite the bullet and buy a second Touch (stock) to run analogue to my whole house Niles system. I did not know if running the two outputs would degrade the Touch digital to my main system. For the price of a stock Touch I would hate to degrade my main system.

Your modded digital out will sound a lot better than the analogue out on the Touch, I think. If you run both you may degrade the sound of both outputs.

In any case, I'd buy a second Touch. You can get one for well under the $300 list if you shop around.

If there was only a way beyond speculation to know for sure.  Why not just try it?

Steve and firedog,
thanks for the responses. In the meantime I called Wayne at Bolder Cable and he said there would be no problem or degrading of sound by running both. So for now I will use the one Touch and give it a shot.

thanks again

I got one last week for $230 from Vanns. Using digital into my main system, analog to some outdoor speakers. Love it. Was struggling with navigating a 50k song collection through an Oppo, ipeng rocks!
