=fantastic news. I went to the Bristol show this year for the sole purpose of hearing the Brystons and having a chat with the PMC guys. To have Brystons centres within reach all round the year is simply wonderful.  :thumb:

This really is fantastic news, Tom is definitely the right man for the job, a superstar in UK HiFi :thumb:

What gives me great pleasure is that I have been talking with Tom over the last few months and I think that it is OK to announce that I will be part of the 'selected group or retailers' and will be opening my own HiFi dealership around the end of this month, I definitely feel honoured to be included I have to say :)

I didn't realise it was going to be called a 'Bryston Centre of Excellence' though, I just hope that I can make it live upto the title

Nothing will give me more pleasure though, as a Bryston enthusiast above all, to be able to demonstrate Bryston equipment and hopefully pass on a little bit of knowledge as to why Bryston is the best audio brand around, I will be doing a few other brands but obviously Bryston will be taking centre stage.

I think we have got our first training next Monday when I'll finally get to hear the BHA-1 and have a good look at the B135 SST2.

I'll post a little more about where I'll be situated and what I'm planning over the next couple of weeks, it's all a little bit scary if I'm honest but extremely exciting :D

Thanks.

Thanks James, it's slightly terrifying but if I can make it work it will be the best job in the world, I'm not really sure how I've ended up in this position to be honest, 1 year ago I shut down my printing business to 'follow the dream' and work in HiFi and here I am about to open my own premises, crazy, no regrets so far though :thumb:

In all honesty the only reason I've done it is to give me anoher excuse to buy loads more Bryston kit

Hi is there a list of these new centres? I would be interested to find out if there will be one in the NW UK.

Hi James,

I'm going to be called HiFi Lounge, located in Bedfordshire not too far away from PMC actually, in a converted Granary which is being done up at the moment, can't wait to get stuck in now, here's a couple of pics of the building, I should have everything ready to go in 2-3 weeks so I'll make bit more of announcement nearer the time :)

Really looking forward to meeting Craig, shame you are not going to there also James, can't wait also to get a chance to see and hear the BHA-1 :)

I actually went over to HiFi Racks today to open an account and it turns out Bradley knows you James, it's a small world.

Wow Vipers,

Looks like it will be an amazing place; I will make a time to come visit for a coffee etc etc...

You really have moved in mysterious ways from printing to HiFi.

I've got say HiFI Racks (Bradley) are an amazing company to do business with.....whilst they may not be the cheapest around, the quality is at the top of the game. I have had several racks / tables off them and they are faultless.

In fact, HiFi racks built my Oak MB2i speaker stands which really adds a touch of finesse compared to the standard metal stands provided by PMC.

Thanks James and Ritchief,

Yes, having HiFi Racks on board was key for me, Bryston kit on their racks just looks gorgeous, and more importantly sounds great, so I was very pleased and relieved when they gave me the nod to be a dealer and after spending a couple of hours up at their facility yesterday meeting the gang I can honestly say you couldn't wish to meet a nicer bunch of guys and gals :)

We had a great day over at PMC on Monday for their first, of many I hope, Bryston days, very relaxed and informative.

It was great to meet Craig, what a top bloke, very knowledgeable and obviously very passionate about what Bryston do and a true music fan, oh yeah and also a bit of a comedian, a very funny guy :)

And I actually got to listen to the BHA-1 at last, what more could a man want, a brilliant day :thumb:
