Newton running shoes

Just curious.  Anyone else here using Newton running shoes ???

I hadn't heard of them until I saw your post. They look like a great shoe, but very pricy. I typically run 50-60 miles a month, so for almost $200 with tax I hope they last longer than 300 miles. My daily runner is a Brooks Ravenna 2. I'm prone to shin splints and the Ravenna is the only shoe I've found that reduces my down time after long runs.

I just replaced a pair after about 600 miles.  But I would suggest that you stay away from them unless you are prepared to commit to a fore-foot strike.  There is little cushion on the heel.  Look at their training videos.  It took me about two months to transition.
