Vintage Tubes
« on: 4 Jul 2012, 09:40 pm »
Hi,I really don't know where to post this,so I picked the Tube-o-phile Circle. Most of you know by now that the moderator of Classic or Vintage Audio Circle(Bill Thomas) had passed away. His rebuilding articles on Dyna equipment were priceless, not to mention the fact he was a great guy!In honor of his memory I think he would have wanted the (Circle) to go on for others like him to enjoy the hobby.I can't find it anymore,as I think it was cancelled. If it is because the need of a new moderator,I'd like to hear from anyone out there who might be that person.Obama and Romney I think are to busy, but let me start this up with a few names like Frank VanAlstine,Wayner, and I know of a real vintage guru Mike Samra from Audio Asylum who eats, sleeps and breathes the hobby.Lets keep it going for Bill......any ideas?....thanks.....Mark Korda

Hi Mark:

The circle is still active:

Sorry to hear about Bill.   I'm sure someone will be willing to step up and moderate the circle.
