George Marino, engineer extrordinaire, has passed away after a year-long battle with lung cancer. For anyone wondering about the impact he had on the music in our lives, a discography of his stupendous body of work can be found here:

A shame. That is one vast, varied, & highly regarded list of credits. Thanks for the note DD. Condolences to his family & friends.

Arthur, I went through that whole discography trying to mentally keep track of how many of those albums I actually owned. Didn't make it halfway before I gave up - it was more than my bad brain could sustain.
He was apparently also noteworthy for always being the most placid guy in the room - itself a feat when you consider the egos he was constantly surrounded by.

Wow!!! Thats an incredible list..."Thank you George for bringing us all that fantastic music" my condolences to his family and friends. I huge loss to everyone who enjoys music.....
