I have not laughed that hard when viewing the power cable video ($200K) in a long time. Now my side hurts! This guy keeps a very straight face. What a deal for a quality crystal power cable indeed!

I was waiting to hear bong rips in the background. And some coughing.

I bought some of those 'noise reduction hangers' from Coconut . I gave them to my galpal & told her they were earrings. When she speaks all of her vocals are absorbed by the hangers! Well worth every penny I spent on them. hehehe.           ( If she ever reads this post will you guys come to my funeral?)

Whatever it is, and there is a lot of room for what, it isn't driven by science or aesthetics of sound, it is driven by the trade and its dependents and the nouveau riche (the thrill of the chase for the rest of us).  I honestly can't say that I enjoy my system any more deeply now than before I was so enlightened

There were no promises made for the Pet Rock.  Those who bought one understood exactly what they were getting and they were under $10.  They were also better looking than anything Coconut builds!

From the Coconut website:

How audio works

If you are a 2 dimensional being living on a piece of paper, it's impossible to see the whole paper. But if you are one dimension higher, you can see the "big picture". It's the same thing with audio, to fully know how audio works you need to be in a higher dimension where you can see all the variables that affect the audio stream. Therefore it's impossible for anyone in the world to know how audio works.

I'm really, really sure at least one person in the world doesn't know how audio works.  So who is this person?  Again from the website:

Meet the designer

Our designer tweaked his audio system 12+ hours per day for 11 consecutive years, he found that the highest performance came when combining crystals of different kinds. These crystal formulas were fine-tuned by ear to 0.01 gram accuracy to give the absolute sweet spot where the listener is transported to another world.

Here is his comment: "I design all tweaks for myself to use in my own system. It sounds so good I want to share this great sound with everyone! I receive no payment from Coconut-Audio for my designs, giving audiophiles eargasms and reading about them is payment enough!"

You just can't pay enough for stuff like this.

At first I thought the designer put this magic crystal formula up his nose but the picture makes it look like you're getting a blob of clay that you sit on top of something.
Better than Shakti Rocks and I don't even know what they are.
Huh.  I guess you learn something new every day.

I take it you're referring to the esteemed Rofl Ubcon award.  (Rolling On Floor Laughing Until Beverage Comes Out Nose).

What does it say about society and our hobby though, when Audigon lists 96 Positive/1 Neutral transactions for Coconut Audio?  It's also always a little scary when two companies merge to try and dominate and monopolize a market segment, so keep a watch out for "Machina Coconut".
