... don't know about everybody else but I bought 7 fantastic albums this week, like I do every week... I'm enjoying my system like a mofo...

And according to quantum mechanics, we may very well get out of this alive, in some form. They say the mind is like a field that can exist on it's own. I don't know, ask Morgan Freeman.

Yea. I learned my lesson. The one thing I did notice is, the people most qualified to post in this thread, avoided it like the plague. There's a lesson to  be learned there, I think.

it is not really a rip-off, but...
just came back home from horrible four days in the Texas gulf cost, expensive condo by the beach, rained all days, fours kids (two mine, two borrowed) got annoyed and got on my nerves.  So, sure it is feeling like wasted money.

So, enjoying some Pink Floyd right now.   :)

Exactly right guys.

You can't take it with you, so why spend so much time trying to prove each other wrong when you could be busy enjoying your music?

Rip offs. Who really cares?

That's why it strayed so early and often.  After expensive cables and Bose, what more is there to list?  (Joking, there were many contenders)

As far as killing the thread, early deaths occur from serious violations of policy.  I much prefer to let threads die their natural death as interest wanes.  I see interest waning on a pretty steep curve from here on out.

I think what we learned is how to treat each other with dignity and respect, and a little humor when posting online.  Even when we disagree and/or the topic is contentious.

Like any lengthy conversation with a friend, topic will stray but through out remain intellectual and stimulating. I have quite enjoyed this topic and all variations within.
Thanks All
ps: Anyone telling you what you hear or don't hear in a system is the ultimate rip

I guess I have just lost too many audiophile friends over the years. And several of them has only been in their 50's, one in their 40's all due to health. When you lose dear friends way too early, I fell that that is the ultimate rip-off in the audio world and the rest of the world.

LOL. Okay, I think it's safe to say that site is pure fraud. That is someone who think audiophiles will buy anything and came up with a bunch of bullsh*t products to prove their point. Cynical money-grab and a straight up scam (Extreme Reference?)

Yeah, my cat gets a "hanger" occasionally, but I haven't noticed that they have any affect on the sound of my hifi.

I have not laughed that hard when viewing the power cable video ($200K) in a long time. Now my side hurts! This guy keeps a very straight face. What a deal for a quality crystal power cable indeed!

I couldn't believe what I was watching! Never seen a developer so lazy he had to look up at the screen to describe his product. Loved the vacuum cleaner hose "for proper grip, because you have to be able to grip it, it's very important. I prefer this naked look."

"It is very difficult to install in your system, you must be strong, so the grip is important."

Go Borat go!
