I have used Krell Evo 403, Ayon Spirit III, PBN EB-1 "Super Amp", NAD M2, Cary 200.2 and some custom 12 watt Triode tube monos. For fun I even tried my trusty old NAD 3020.

The V's are a clear view into the source. The better the amp the better they sound. The NAD 3020 didn't suck, it just sounded a little dated and dry on top. The M2 had the fastest bass I have ever heard in my home. The Krell Evo was mind blowing but costs $50. per month just to run and the heat will kill you. The Ayon was the best value and had tube magic. My long term "reference" is the PBN EB-1. It's on the expensive side, but has a sweet holographic soundstage and sounds great even in cool running "low bias" mode.

I may try a First Watt J2 next.  :D Cary 805's for the winter would be fun too :thumb:.

Hey skenderbeu,

Welcome to AC.

The Super-V presents a very easy impedance load and has high sensitivity. So you can drive them easily with just about anything.

The amps that were used with the speakers for testing and developing were tube amps from Dodd Audio.

I am driving my V1's (Not SuperV's) with a Bottlehead Stereomour (3.5 wpc 2A3 stereo amp).  It drives the Vs louder than I could ever listen in my small room and sounds fantastic.  V's love tubes! :thumb:

Best of luck!
