I was shocked when I saw what happened to Williams.

There have been a number of boxers who have fallen victims to motorcyles...

It's really sad. Tapia, guy was always a train wreck, not a big shock that he didn't make it out of his 40s. Great fighter to watch though.

Most prominent case probably being Diego Corrales.

Why do these idiots ride motorcycles?  This is a shocker and I wish Williams all the best.  He was a very talented boxer and I was looking forward to his next fight.

Tapia, RIP.  He was a troubled soul but I enjoyed his heart in the ring.  His death should not come as a surprise to anyone who has followed his career.  Don't know any details but I'm sure coke had something to do with it.  They say he was a generous and kind guy out of the ring.  I still remember his big fight against Danny Romero and the one against Paulie Ayala.  Tapia wasn't the most polished guy in the ring or the most talented but he was a warrior (and very good Super Flyweight) who had no fear.  Berrera dominated him but was a bigger, stronger, and more well rounded fighter.  At Super flyweight, Tapia was pretty tough and always fun to watch.
