Selling a pair of Wyred 4 Sound 200-sx monos. I am the second owner. These are the first version of the highly regarded SX series.
They have the exact same ICE modules in the current SX-500 amps, the only difference is the chassis obviously. Prospective buyers can contact Wyred with the serial numbers for these amps if there is a question about it. Ser# SX-500-8A011 and SX-500-8A012.
They have switchable input buffer which is awesome. If the switch is set to on, the amps have a input impedance of 100kohms which is great for any tube pre amp. When set to off the input impedance is 10kohms which in my experience sounds the best when using low output impedance solid state preamps. The differences between on and off is not subtle even when using low impedance SS preamps. In my mind that makes these amps a bit more versatile than Wyred's new amps which have a factory set 64kohm input impedance buffer.
I have the user manual and power cords. I don't have the original box but I will pack them extremely well.
$$$$ for the pair is a bargain for these considering a new pair of SX-500s will will run you $1800.
