If you have read about the NS-40 or own one, these sound exactly the same except there is 60 watts extra per channel. Easy on the tubes? Absolutely!

Any chokes used or required?

All my tube amplifier designs do not require a choke in the power supply. I like to use them in my classic designs. Back in the 40's and 50's they were necessary because most filter capacitors were too small to eliminate ripple in the B+ by themselves.

If someone wanted a choke based power supply, I would be happy to accommodate.
