I need a way to sum a 2-channel signal down to 1. . .cheaply.

There are several pro-audio electronic crossovers that do this. . .and they only cost about $100. . .however, 95% of the features on these things, I don't need.  ALL I need right now is a way to sum the signal . . .and I would like the unit to have XLR inputs and outputs (so I don't have to get my cables reterminated). . .
