 I have for sale a newly built pair of really nice custom built AV123 X-LS Encore Monitors in rear vented high gloss piano black Parts Express cabinets (P/N 302-720). These speakers have been performance upgraded with Sonicap capacitors in the crossover networks and the cabinet interior walls have been lined with premium No-Rez sound damping treatment for tighter bass and cleaner midrange. These upgrades cost more but take the performance up to a higher level. All component parts in these speakers are new including the beautiful  high gloss piano black cabinets. Cabinet size is 14"H x 8-1/2" W x 12" D. These speakers use a 6-1/2" Woofer and a 1" silk dome rear chambered tweeter both manufactured by Peerless India. Frequency response range is 55 Hz - 20Khz +/- 1.5 db. Sensitivity is 87 db/1M/1W. Impedance is 8 ohms.

The performance of these speakers is exceptionally good. They have a very smooth, open, natural sound quality with broad sound stage imaging and depth. Vocal reproduction is very natural sounding. Musical instuments like piano and violin sound very realistic. Bass response is exceptionally good being very deep, tight, and well controlled for a vented type system. They sound very musical on all types of music from classical to Rock.

  Please note that these speakers differ from the stock X-LS Encore's in that they have Sonicap capacitors in the crossovers and No-Rez sound damping treatment upgrades that takes the performance to a whole new level that showcases the speakers capabilities. Thanks Rod.  They sound great too. Very musical on all types of music from jazz and rock to classical. Vocals
reproduction is very open and natural sounding. They are very nice  speakers both in sound quality and appearance.

Yeah -- keep your line in the water Ron! These are really impressive and someone will want them.

I'd bite myself, but am looking to do a build myself. Not that I'd do a better job -- not a chance -- but I just want the experience of putting a kit together, since I haven't done that yet.
