Using this Dennis Had Magnavox EL84 SE to power the Zenith OB's seems appropriate as both started life in consoles during the late 1950's.

Telefunken S81 with 6MB8 tubes

It has the mods as per:

Grundig NF10 with ECL 82 output tubes

with Dignity Audio PM201 with Obbligato cap upgrade as well as 7N7 adapter to use cheaper tubes than the best 6SN7.

Latest and best edition of the Zenith 49CZ803 open baffles using front and rear firing tweeters. The Zenith and tweeters are powered by 2a3 Bottleheads while a TPA3116 class D drives the woofers using an Ashly active. Plate amp powered bucket subs augment the low bass.

I just installed the 5R4 Potatoe Masher and am waiting on some lovely 310A from Europa. Preamp is an upgraded (Obbligato caps) Dignity Audio PM-201.
