Does anyone have one of these two brands? Are they comparable to the expensive made wires like MIT, Transparent, etc

The Signal balanced cables are VERY reasonable in price....

I use the Signal Cable  Silver Resolutions and find them quite satisfactory.

I recently introduced Signal Cable's Silver Resolution balanced cables between my CD player and preamp.  I have been very pleased with the improved resolution relative to the balanced cables that I had been using.

I think they're worth every penny paid for them.  They're all pretty bog standard coax cable with good connectors, excepting Signal Cable's Silver Resolution which is an air dielectric two conductor cable, which is what I'd recommend trying and the cable mentioned by decal and MM.  Coax cables can give a nice, balanced sound, but don't compare to better designs in my eyes.  That doesn't mean they have to be a lot more expensive as evidenced by the Silver Resolution's price.

The prior replies are spot on, IMHO.  I have used Signals Cable copper and silver in various setups.  The copper, in addition to being well made a low cost are unfailingly musical.  While they wont slay uberbuck cables in resolution, imaging and treble brilliance (which is a whole nother area of debate and cost) they always sound good and dont highlight any one area of musical spectrum.

I found the silvers to be very well balanced with some nice added articulation.  I believe they all have a 30 day MBG.

Cant speak to the zebras.
