While I wait patiently (Not
) for my iPad 3rd generation I have been looking for a protective case with keyboard combination. I know some of the new cases are not ready yet because the increased thickness of the new iPad required some redesign so I have been reading about products for the iPad 2.
Now I am totally confused and frustrated. Several cases have rave reviews but also some fatal flaws like they damage the iPad or outright product failure after a short time period. That includes mechanical breakage, batteries that won't hold a charge, cases that won't stay closed, and stuck/broken keys. There are just too many 1-star, I hate it comments for each product.
Mostly I have read about the ZaggMate, ZaggFolio, and New Trent. I can't find any dealers near me to examine the merchandise directly and hate to order online and take the risk of the product being less than satisfactory. I am taking a trip in May and would like to have a keyboard/case before that.
Please share your experiences; good, bad, and ugly.
