I saw on the Zu web site they might be bringing the new Driuid MKV. That should be very interesting.

There is going to be trailer full of speakers which we might get to listen to

If I can make it, would it be a PITA for me to bring along a Redgum RGi120 ENR to try and hear with the Def 4s?  I had a regular RGi120 which was a golden synergy with my Superflys. 

If it made the same magic with the Def 4s I'd consider liquidating my analog rig and selling my VR-33s in favor of Def 4s with the simple integrated and my lampizator.   

Bring the toys along with you and show up early.

"The Zu SL-1200 is pretty extensive, but it does use the core, the rubber plinth, the top plinth, and the platter, and all are modified. The arm is a Rega/AudioMods/Zu arm, and the pickup is Zu. Phono-stages will be The ArtAudio/K&K and the Jasmine LP2."

Can we apply for conditional attendance?  As with many, July is kinda crazy with different plans floating about.  If I'm at home, I'm an hour away and would love to attend, but cannot commit at this date that I will not be away that weekend.  Should we bring any albums or (God forbid) CD's along?

I do not own any record player or albums (I use Logitech Touch as my transport) so I plan to use CD's for the event and you or anyone else should not feel that only vinyl setup will be available and I apologize if that is how this event is coming across.  I just updated the equipment list with borrowed Rega Apollo and Goldmund transport.

Yes, you can make it conditional for attendance.  The only thing that I would request that you let me know 2 weeks in advance so I can make sure that I have the correct number for food and drinks.

Hey Ed, if you feel up to it, would you consider bringing an example of your favorite portable headphone amp - I know we both posted in a thread awhile back, but I never followed up? still, I'm curious to hear how much better, while still being portable, the in ear path can be versus just my Zune and after market earbuds I have today.

If this is a hassle, don't worry, maybe another time.
